The Office
to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP Office) announces a Request
for Statements of Interest (SOIs) to combat trafficking in persons in the
following countries: Madagascar, Tanzania, Burma, Laos, the Philippines,
Thailand, Egypt, Lebanon, Bangladesh, India, Bolivia, and Mexico, as well as
one or more Global projects.
The
solicitation and informational materials, including an FAQs page, are
posted on our website: http://www.state.gov/j/tip/intprog/index.htm.
U.S.-
based and foreign non-profit, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and
institutions of higher education interested in applying for TIP Office
funding are encouraged to view all posted material, and check back often for
updates. Responses to all inquiries will be posted on the FAQs page.
Please
note that SOIs must be submitted by March 2, 2015 in order to be considered for
funding.
