NGO CSW 57 - 2013 Forum Parallel Events

The NGO CSW Forum will be held from 4 – 14 March 2013 at the Church Center (777 UN Plaza, New York, NY 10017) from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm daily. Participation at these events is open, free of charge to the public.

To register for an NGO CSW Forum Parallel Event, fees apply ($125) to help cover costs. Priority will be given to events that address the UN CSW priority theme of “elimination and prevention of all forms of violence against women and girls” and the review theme of “The equal sharing of responsibilities between women and men, including care giving in the context of HIV/AIDS.” However, all topics are welcome.

The deadline to register for NGO CSW Forum Parallel Events is 17 December 2012. No applications can be accepted after this date.

Due to a severe limitation of space, NGOs cannot be assured of more than one time slot. Space cannot be allotted at the premises for new events. NGOs are strongly encouraged to group together to co-sponsor events so as to encourage stronger attendance at each session. No cash is accepted for payments.

Terms of Application

I will take full responsibility for all policy statements and other actions taken in my use of the facility;
Each room comes with one microphone, one screen, two tables and chairs;
If damage occurs to the facility or furniture, I must reimburse facility management and will be responsible for any loss or damage to my own property;
I understand that I may bring my own projector and laptop at no additional charge, or rent a projector for $150/event, if I wish to display a presentation on a screen;
I will not hold NGO/CSW/NY or facility management responsible for any loss, liability, accidents or expenses I incur;
No alcoholic beverages of any kind, and no narcotics may be used, possessed, consumed or sold in any part of the building.
NO FOOD CAN BE SERVED DUE TO PUBLIC HEALTH REASONS.
